These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Beaufort Nannies (“the Agency”) and the Client family (“the Client”) engaging the Agency’s services to find a suitable nanny or childcare professional. By registering with Beaufort Nannies, the Client accepts these Terms in full.
1. Registration & Joining Fee
1.1 A non-refundable joining fee of £100 is payable upon registration.
1.2 This fee will be offset against the final placement fee once a successful permenant placement is made.
1.3 Registration does not guarantee the introduction or placement of a nanny.
- Placement Fees
2.1 Placement fees are payable once a nanny has accepted an offer of employment with the Client.
2.2 Permanent placement fees (flat rate according to contracted hours per week):
· – 0–15 hours per week: £750
· – 15–30 hours per week: £1,000
· – 30–40 hours per week: £1,250
· – 40+ hours per week: £1,500
2.3 Temporary placements:
· – Up to 4 weeks: £400
· – 4–8 weeks: £750
· – Weddings/Events: £50
· – Babysitting: £15 per booking
. – Emergency Nannies: £50
. – Trial shifts: £50
2.4 All fees are subject to payment within 7 days of invoice. Payment must be paid before nanny commences position. Late payment may result in additional charges.
- Client Responsibilities
3.1 The Client is the direct employer of the nanny. The Agency is not the employer and accepts no responsibility for the employment relationship.
3.2 The Client is responsible for:
- – Providing a written contract of employment.
- – Complying with employment, tax, and pension obligations.
- – Ensuring a safe and lawful working environment.
- Candidate Information
4.1 The Agency will check candidates’ references, qualifications, and right to work in the UK.
4.2 The Client must satisfy themselves as to the suitability of any nanny before offering employment.
4.3 The Agency cannot guarantee a candidate’s character, conduct, or performance.
- Trial Period
5.1 Clients may arrange a paid trial with a candidate (up to 2 days) at a rate agreed directly between Client and nanny.
5.2 A £50 trial fee is payable to the Agency for arranging the trial.
- Replacement Policy
6.1 If a placement ends within 6 weeks, the Agency will offer one free replacement introduction, provided all fees were paid on time.
6.2 If a replacement cannot be found Beaufort Nannies will offer a refund as stated in the refund policy.
- Confidentiality
7.1 All candidate information shared with the Client is confidential and must not be disclosed to third parties.
7.2 If a Client passes candidate details to a third party and that results in a placement, full placement fees will apply.
- Limitation of Liability
8.1 The Agency acts as an introduction service only.
8.2 The Agency shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, or claim arising out of the employment or engagement of a nanny.
- Termination of Agreement
9.1 The Agency reserves the right to withdraw services if the Client breaches these Terms or fails to make payments.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
